Opelika High Theatre Society Presents Footloose: The Musical

The Opelika High School Theatre Society invites the community to experience Footloose the Musical, a high-energy stage production inspired by the classic 1984 film.
Footloose follows Ren McCormack, a teenager who moves from Chicago to a small town where dancing has been banned. Determined to challenge the rules, Ren inspires his classmates and the community to rediscover the joy of music, movement, and self-expression. Featuring unforgettable songs from the iconic film, Footloose is a vibrant musical about friendship, courage, and standing up for what you believe in.
Performances will be held April 10 and April 11 at 7:00 p.m., April 12 at 3:00 p.m., April 17 and April 18 at 7:00 p.m., and April 19 at 3:00 p.m. in the Opelika Center for Performing Arts, located at 1700 Bulldog Parkway in Opelika.
Tickets are $10 for students and $15 for adults. Tickets may be purchased online through GoFan or at the door. This production is recommended for ages 13 and older.
