Opelika City Schools accepting applications for Chief School Financial Officer

OPELIKA, Ala. – Opelika City Schools is now accepting applications for the position of chief school financial officer. The application process is being conducted by the law office of Capell & Howard. The application deadline is November 11, 2026. Interviews of applicants will be conducted November 2-16. Applicants selected for final consideration will be notified by November 17, 2026. The intention of the board is to have a candidate selected by December 15, 2026, with a start date of January 4, 2027.
