Opelika City Schools is proud to announce that ten Opelika Middle School (OMS) students have been selected for the 2025 Alabama All-State Choir, a distinguished honor for student singers in the state. These talented students will join others from across Alabama for a state-wide performance opportunity this spring.

This year, OMS students dedicated countless hours to preparing for the rigorous audition process, which required mastery of multiple musical selections, advanced sight-reading, and vocal technique. 

“I’m incredibly proud of each of our students who auditioned this year,” said Marta Harrison, choral director at Opelika Middle School. “These students have demonstrated incredible skill and growth, and I cannot wait to see them perform.”

In the spring, they will travel to Birmingham to work with renowned choral directors and perform in a culminating All-State concert.
