Opelika Athletics is proud to announce a new five-year partnership with Nike, facilitated through BSN Sports, beginning June 1, 2026. This agreement designates Opelika High School as an official Nike School, granting all athletic teams access to Nike’s uniforms, apparel, footwear, and equipment.

The contract includes all athletic teams. Basketball, baseball, and spring sports will be the first to wear new Nike apparel and gear. Additional sports will transition into Nike uniforms as their season approaches.

“We are excited to partner with Nike and BSN Sports for Opelika Athletics, said Craig Montel, Athletic Director. “Nike’s reputation for performance and excellence aligns with our tradition and commitment to student-athletes. This enhances the game experience for our athletes, coaches, and community.”

In addition to Nike-branded apparel and gear, the agreement also provides access to a Nike Rewards Program and will launch a community-wide Nike spirit store in the future, where students, families, staff and fans can purchase official Opelika-branded Nike merchandise.

The contract runs through 2031, with an additional one-year renewal option at the end of the five-year term.
