Fry's Phrases were developed by Edward Fry. They contains the most used words in reading and writing. The words in these PowerPoint presentations make up almost half of the words met in any reading task. We have placed them on the slide show so that our students can hear the words, & see the words to assist with their automatically. Successful readers decode words so that they are said "instantly". This automatically is essential to comprehension.
